Estetiska Lärprocesser - ett sätt att främja elevers lärande?

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study was to find out what opinions some teachers already had about aesthetic learning processes. We also wanted to find out whether it was something that teachers themselves made use of, and in that case why or why not. To find out how different teachers' views may look like, in the case of aesthetic learning processes, we chose to interview four teachers in primary schools who had different learning approaches to their students. Research showed good results for those schools that made use of aesthetic learning processes. All informants seemed positive about the approach, but to what extent and how they used it in their learning approaches differed. Aesthetic learning processes could be associated with several different educational movements which have been around for a long time, for example, Reggio Emilia and activity pedagogy. It could also be connected to other learning theories; which we therefore mentioned in the background as an example of how aesthetic learning processes could be used and why.
