Abstract [en]

The concert series in this church is focused on allowing music to sound in the church setting which does not ordinarily happen in the sacred room. This particular concert presented to the public music which was composed on site in real time--improvised music--by two performers, one at the organ, the other at trombone and flute. The dynamic that evolved between two creative musicians, both accomplished performers, both composers, both interested in making something together, resulted in music which was itself creative, new, interesting, dynamically alive. There were two organs, both were used, the trombonist/flutist also moved throughout the room so that the music, too, was in motion.
