Abstract [en]

Laminated composites subjected to a large number of thermal cycles between cryogenic to elevated temperatures close to glass transition, experience formation of intralaminar cracks, causing degradation of thermo-mechanical properties. The objective of this paper is to improve the understanding of the microdamage initiation and growth mechanisms in thermomechanical fatigue.
