Accessibility-related information within the tourism sector which would allow people with disabilities to be able to assess the level of accessibility on site is currently lacking. This study focuses on information in regards to outdoor recreational activities within mountain destinations in the middle parts of Sweden. The findings from in-depth interviews with different stakeholders, in addition with a website-analysis, indicate that there is not much information that is aimed towards people with disabilities overall, neither in terms of digital inclusion, nor information regarding the physical accessibility on the examined destinations. There is however examples of positive contributions to increased accessibility efforts found within this study. This study adds research on how the information should be presented in order to allow people with access needs to be able to assess the accessibility in relation to their abilities and disabilities.
