Abstract [sv]

Loftgången tog sitt fäste kring miljonprogrammet som en billigare variant på bostadshus. Detta främst då varje hiss betjänar fler lägenheter per våning jämfört med vad som uppnåddes med tidigare bostadstyper. Samtidigt genererar denna typ av lösning en effektivare användning av boytan med en möjlighet till konsekventa lägenhetsindelningar då entréerna ligger på utsidan av fasaden. Då loftgångarnas primära huvudsyfte är att vara så kostnadseffektiva som möjligt så blir oftast det arkitektoniska uttrycket i fasaden bortprioriterat såväl som insynen och dagsljusinsläppet.

I denna rapport kommer för- och nackdelar med loftgångsbyggnader att ställas mot varandra, med information hämtat från både litteratur, internet och företag. Förslag till lösningar gällande reducerad insyn, dagsljusinsläpp, byggnadens arkitektoniska uttryck samt några andra aspekter kommer presenteras, för att till slut resultera i ett gestaltningsförslag till en modern och optimerad loftgångsbyggnad

Abstract [en]

The access balcony buildings took place around the million program as a cheaper version in residential buildings. This mainly because each elevator serves more apartments per floor compared to what was achieved with previous housing types. At the same time, this type of solution generates a more efficient use of the living space, with the possibility of consistent apartment divisions when the entrances are located on the outside of the facade. Since the primary purpose of access balconies is to be as cost-effective as possible, the architectural expression in the facade is usually out of priority as well as the lack of privacy and daylighting.

In this report, the pros and cons of access balcony buildings will be set against each other, with information retrieved from literature, the Internet and companies. Proposals for solutions for reduced visibility, daylight emission, architectural expression of the building and some other aspects will be presented, to ultimately result in design proposals for a modern and optimized access balcony building.
